Kat was always drawn to the stage. She was trained in undergraduate drama at Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. She earned her BFA at the musical theatre studio, Collaborative Arts Project for the 21st Century. (CAP21)
She taught acting and audition technique classes onboard the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship and rubbed shoulders with Grammy award winners at the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in LA.
Kat studies Alexander technique, yoga and dance, and has a intrinsic appreciation of the use of the actor's body in space. She also studied set design and production, music composition and harmonic analysis, and extensive theatre history and studies. Whilst in London, Kat was an active member of the Actors Centre, where her training included scene study, improvisation, and Shakespeare methods.
She has appeared in various musicals and films, commercials and readings.
